Hot and steamy...

Its hot, I feel the drops of sweat that have formed along the upper portion of my abdomen, just below my chest, starting to make their way down. There are little wet patches on my shirt. I am making an effort not to lean back in my chair, for ten minutes of leaning back would render my shirt stuck to my back. Yes, I am at work, the air-conditioning on our side of the building has gone bust. The air in here is hot and the fans keep blowing hot air at us. shit! This is annoying.

Last evening, after work I went to Nawaloka Hospital to see a friends father who is quite sick. Walking through the lobby and countless waiting areas that were packed with sick people, I couldn't help but wonder how many people get sick these days. It almost seems like a shopping mall. People of all walks of life, dressed in all sorts of clothes, some even trying to make a fashion statement could be found at this hospital. I thank my parents for not taking me to that over-priced dump for my operation. The Oasis was so much quieter and so much more relaxed and hospital-like than this place.

This is annoying, the heat is building and the sweat seems to be endless. Even as I write this post. There's a certain young lady, who keeps walking up and down past my desk, and has been able to constantly make me stop my work and watch her pass by. She looks quite sweet and cute today. I think its the hair...
